1952-59 Ford Fords from the past.

Ted Wells? He was a 352 guru. Even made his own intake manifolds.

 

It does look like Teds car. It was a .050 over 352 but, that may be a later picture, with that hood scoop and different marking, than he ran in Long Beach. He moved back to the Mid West and later ran a 427, with a 352 crank for 396 ci. He did 121 @ 11.18 with the 361 ci in engine at LB. I never heard what his times were with the 396.

Seeing this picture makes me wonder how we ever got around without 4 wheel drive SUV's everywhere, We just did! Really liked the old black and white photos with the scalloped border and date stamp too. Good memories.
