    If you want to relocate to the beautiful state of Michigan, right on the lake, let me know, ha. I could use a guy like you in the shop.

    Very impressive work!!

  12. best of luck on the sale! Hope the economy doesn't hurt your chances, but that car turned out so nice you should be ok. It turned out even nicer than I thought it would when watching the build pics. You should be really proud of this, I know I would!!!

    What happened to this Vicky is really sad. After it left his hands, the next builder "created" a one-of-a-kind that shouldn't have been created.*

    * Totally my opinion and everybody is entitled to it.

  16. This person has obvious talent. No one should bad mouth him. You may not like what he built, but you can't ignore what he has done. someone mentioned Wray Schelin a few post ago. I went to Wray's shop when it was still in Connecicut. I was impressed with the work that he does. I happen to like 1933 Willys automobiles, and he was working on a sedan delivery ( 1935 Willys ) that he made a 1933 Willys 6" longer hood and side panels for it in order to fit a Chrysler hemi. They looked as though they were factory made. So don't knock this guy, be thankful that people like him around. Appreciate the talent. I know that I do.

    Nick, I think you failed to read this sentence:
    " After it left his hands, the next builder "created" a one-of-a-kind that shouldn't have been created."
    Chris is a very talented builder with a traditional hot rod taste. I believe that the person that bought this as a project and completed the build is what is being referenced to.

    This is what the buyer did with it. If you squint you can maybe still see a Vicky body in there. Under the part the elephant sat on. Behind the steampunk trim.

  24. That just makes it worse! With all the fabrication talent and equipment on the project, they had to start with that body and fuck it up? They could have started with a basic shell. Even a sedan and still ended up where they did. What a waste.

    And the drip rail at the rear is the cherry on the cake of distorted ugly!
    Seriously?:confused::mad:

    Oh well. At least it wasn't a "real" Vicky.

    Does it have dual wheels on the back, or do my eyes deceive me ?

    Come on guys !.. it's not cool to disparage another man's car despite what you might think of it.
    I'm sure there are aspects of your own cars that some don't like.
