  5. The 1956 Ford truck headlight inner rings really wake up the front of 1957 Fords.

  9. It looks like George Barris and 2 of the cars that were customized at the Barris Brother's shop.

  10. Larry Shinoda who later went on to fame at Ford Motor Company. IIRC he designed the 1949-51 Fords.

Strange to see all those beer bottles not going in the river... must have been a deposit. When I was a kid, any body of water was a great place to hide things you didn't want to keep, lol. Just common practice around here. Of course they didn't often sink so we got a lot of rock throwing practice until they went down, or floated around a bend.

  15. I think Shinoda's claim to fame was the graphics he designed for Ford (Mach I, etc.) as well as Dodge (Charger, Demon, etc.) and Plymouth ('Cuda, etc.)

Good trick Born in 1930 he started working for Ford in 1955 then jumped to Packard, he went on to GM in late 1956 moving back to Ford with Knudsen in 1968.

Boss 302 was his Ford Graphics design, Chrysler he never worked for, after Ford he went into business with Knudsen at Rectrans building RV's, which was bought by White Motor Truck to get Knudsen as president.
He later did design work for AMC on the Jeep Grand Cherokee which didn't turn out well for Shinoda and after purchasing AMC Chrysler ended up paying Larry to settle the law suite over the design AMC copied from him for the GC.
He died way too early in the mid 90's.
