VINTAGE SHOTS FROM DAYS GONE BY! (Part 2)

Now, these are the days when ever gas station in my town had a race car sitting out in front of the station.

I started at about 12 years old handing around these places and doing whatever jobs they asked me to do for Free just so I could hang around and learn.

I miss these days more and more as I get older.

Oh man you are so right. I remember years ago driving around the counties around me and seeing race cars, stock cars and older vehicles around old gas stations. Back in the late seventies an old man in a very rural town and I got talking about cars and he took me out behind the station and lifted a tarp where a 1970 Superbird sat. He said I could have it for three grand. I left and now every time I see one at a car show I kick myself in the ass.
