This picture was taken yesterday. The horse in the foreground is in a Lincoln NE art gallery today and the roadster has it's rightful place back:) We need to make a trip to the recyclers:( IMG_4578.JPEG

It will probably look like this tomorrow around noon as the tropical storm passes over my neck of the woods in South Florida.

Our house and the maple tree my wife got on Arbor Day when she was in the fourth grade. She and I purchased the place from her parents 41 years ago. The shop was built two years ago. 49907191-BD4A-4151-B938-A5CE2103B430.jpeg

I will let you know once it's built. Unfortunately I'm playing the waiting game for 7-9 months while King county (Seattle) farms out their permitting process to some place in Texas.
Eventually there will be a 36x40 shop with two 12x12 doors I can look out of.
There will also be a 10x36 lean to and a 10x50 apron out front.

  27. So...um...I'm guessing cutting down the tree to open up the driveway is a no-go...;)

:p Yup. The tree dictated the orientation of the big overhead doors. The photo I posted is through the side man door. I usually have the big overhead doors closed to keep prying eyes blind and prevents leaves and other stuff from blowing in.
BTW, at the other end of the property is the maple tree my daughter got on Arbor Day, and a dogwood tree that my grandson got on Arbor Day. When we first bought the place, my sister-in-law was mad at me for cutting down herArbor Day tree, which had been planted too close to my wife’s. Of course, my wife gave permission to cut down her sister’s tree.
