I'm running Cragar S/S, except I put moons over the spokes to be more conservative. They pop right off for when I want to go back to being a flashy, fun loving studly guy. Hasn't happened yet but you never know.

My pretty much stock 40 sedan has the new Torq Thrust originals on it in 15x7. 235/75r15 Radial T/A's in the rear, and 215/75r15's in the front. I rolled the rear fender lips with a piece of pipe against the tires, and if someone rides in the back, I have them sit in the middle or the sidewalls will rub. I think if I freshen up my 82 year old suspension, that will go away (spring shackle bushings are poor). My 40 (2).jpg

No doubt. I was referring to the posters, who for whatever reason, don't seem to be around anymore.

  17. I've said it before but it is bears repeating, there is absolutely nothing that hasn't been posted on the Hamb in the past, maybe the wording is different but in this case it's been 14 years, there is obviously a need for a up to date thread covering the subject. HRP

If I still had my 1940 coupe this is the wheel and tire set up I would have.

  20. As an example, just Google any automotive problem and one of the first three,(usually the first) examples comes up a discussion on the HAMB.

  21. Don, the Hamb as a whole is infamous and we are well documented as hoodlums, but when someone is looking for knowledge they can't find anywhere else they end up here. HRP

Never go out of style. Popular in the 60’s and right now. F81089A1-1B9D-47A6-BF98-97ECA32D2990.jpeg

I have been here for only four years, and I appreciate that threads are resurrected and updated so I have a chance to see and read valuable information that I missed. Thank you HRP and Happy Anniversary

    Front - 14 x 6, 205/70R14
Rear - 15 x 8, 235/70R15 . I can just get the wheel/tire out through the wheel well opening. Any larger diameter and it wouldn't fit. 20180216_170500b.jpg
