The family is packed , truck is loaded. We're leaving Kingman and moving to Pineville, Kentucky. My wife said we're on a new adventure. We've been on a few. Waiting for the transporter to pick up the Tub and the A CCPU. THE PICKUP IS MY DAILY driver.
Good luck on your move. Have family in Kentucky? That unchopped pickup is ***s. You’re gonna need a winter beater in Pineville.
Been thru Barborsville a few years back with my son on a 4x4 trip. Think that is close to Pineville. Yep, you are going to need some snow tires and s heater for the DD.
Good Luck to you.....Better you than me.....Never go back to winter or humidity again... Rust the cars...
Viva la difference. More trees, more hills, more water. And for a while more labor settling in. May you be blessed with great neighbors, who can share your tastes for fine ***ed machines. Be strong, get rest wherever you can.
Wow, given the floods in that area this week I would be a little concerned for your safety. Maybe we can get a response from @dirt t to see how he and his family are doing. That area was just swallowed up in those floods. Hope it missed his area.
You are correct, a lot of flooding in Harlan & Pineville, and it still continues, praying Terry is on high ground! HRP Update: Floodgates back open in Pineville, Bell County still dealing with flood damage
Pineville has flood gates installed by the Army Corp of engineers back in '88 following a tragic mess in the '77 flood. Hope they were able to keep the damage to a minimum. News photos are very alarming.
We have a levy built around our town too. Built in the 30’s. I know the feeling. In 06 we had an awful flood. Had to leave for a week. The levy was failing.
The ***berland river is across the street. The river would have to rise 15 to 20 feet to reach the house.
I lived in Norther AZ some years ago. I had some machine work done at TNT. I don't suppose they are still around. Best of luck with your new adventure.
Good luck to you and your family. New adventure and a fresh start keeps life interesting and KY folks are some of the best I've ever met.
Terry, Hope your move went well and that you'll find some new car guys to go to coffee with. Best wishes, Bill
