Just got an e-mail from Johnson's Hot Rod Shop that they are making radiators and taking orders and will have samples at Louisville. They are only making the thicker Z line at this time. Good News

Seems like things are turning around a little bit Thanks to people like the ones at Johnsons. Hoping it continues!

Glad to hear it but I wonder why they did not continue the walker name, seems counter intuitive.

If I recall, Walker didn’t want to sell the name, just the business.

I wouldn't worry about a name change, I think word of mouth around the car folks and a few full page adds will get the word out. I have used five throughout my cars I built and never a problem.

The Walker family was adamant about not selling the name. One reason the company was so hard to sell. Johnson's name is big enough in the car hobby world that he could deal with it.
I have to agree with the concept of getting one line or series of radiators up and running before expanding to the other styles. That keeps the training and logistics a little simpler.

For those who don't know US Radiators and Brice Thomas radiators = C.G.&J. Are all in the same Gadsen Al area. Screenshot (301).jpg

Seems to be a separate company but princely using the JHRS contacts at this moment
I was at both business (Brice Thomas and Brice Thomas) earlier this month.
I forgot to ask Alan for any updates. Got distracted by an Offy engine, an injected 12 port GMC and an in progress merc chop

I talked with them at the SRN this year. Was impressed with their willingness to talk and offer information.
