Ive been restoring cars for everyone else over the past 15 years. It was time to finally finish my 55 chevy with a 327 4 deuces with a 4sp. I bought the car 10 or so years ago. Dicks hotrod built my intake assembly for me. I did all the work myself. Cant wait to fire the engine up! Outside of the car is Matt gold. Firewall and engine bay gloss along with the laced roof!

Original fenders doors hood and trunk lid. I replaced the floor and trunk both one piece along with the roof skin.

    Really neat! Looks great.

There's some hope for me, I'm at 14 years with my project. What product did you use under the floor?

Its a beautiful car. There's something about a 55 post that just sets them apart from the other tri-fives.

I wanted something different! The satin gold exterior, gloss laced roof and gloss gold chromed out engine bay just makes it one of a kind! Oh and don’t forget that 4 deuce set up!

Super sanitary build. Really dig that roof. Couple billet items look a little out of place but hey it isn't my car. Fantastic work!

No worries Im sure your implying the stainless steel American Flags! When i saw them i just had to have them to incorporate into this build!

If you like them that's the only thing that counts. I think a smaller version of the flag might be cool. The master cylinder cap was the other thing that catches the eye. No big deal. Building these tri-five's takes lot of work, merely due to the shear number of parts there are. I've heard mid '50's Cadillac's are some of the worst.

That roof look's like it's a little more than a standard Lace Job. What did you use to do the shading? Looks Bad Ass!!!

Checks a lot of "cool" boxes, in a very good way. Impressive work and vision.

Its lace fabric i bought that was 58” wide by 9’ painted roof black midnight, taped off edge laid fabric over roof centered taped down. Turned down air pressure and sprayed gold base over fabric! Let flash then removed lace and faded gold base along the edges! It came out so nice. I shocked myself lol!

Here is the fabric i used. This is the diamond i had to repair. Fabric had a bad spot. I cut out another diamond and glued the new one on top. Cant even tell where it was on the roof!
