A young boy, the son of a Pittsburgh steelworker, waves to the camera in this July 1938 photo. That looks like it could be a ONE WAY street sign, or a Kennywood (amusement park) arrow direction sign on the pole at the intersection.
I think this is the same girl that was pissed at her boyfriend working on his hotrod. That picture shows her with her back to him, arms folded and scowling while he's turning wrenches. I can't find that one at the moment.
