  6. Cool, thanks.
The whitewalls with white letters caught my eye.
The odd powder blue custom in the corner as well.

  7. Kustomrama says it's rumored to be in Fresno, but that's sourced from the Satan's Angels Facebook page...

Like the scene in Ferris Bueler's Day Off:
"Um, he’s sick. My best friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who’s going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night."

    from Fremont NE

Wheel covers are either '56 Hudson, or no-name aftermarket Lyons. Lyon likely was the vendor that made the OEM for Hudson. They made a lot of hubcaps/wheel covers for the brand-name auto makers.

    And, yes, they are 15"

  10. The odd part is the car was reportedly in Hawaii until the 80's and someone bought it and went to the trouble to ship it back to the mainland and then just let it sit.

I agree 100% . Way different, way kool.

  12. I didn’t grow up with Kustoms like many of you guys. I dig em even though I don’t know much about them. Here recently I’ve ran across some I’m not familiar with. Or a version I’m not familiar with. These things evolved a lot it seems.

  14. Here is a feature on it on Rik Hoving's CCC. If you want custom history that is the place to look,

    3 eyed...with a twist...close the dang hood...I'd drive it after you...:D

  19. WTF does the 3rd turn signal do except look dumb? I don't mind the fog light but the turn signal is no bueno. It's like they were too lazy to figure out how to do the light without it so just left it.

They look like a Lyons wheel cover. I have some of them in my collection. Also late 50's Lyons built them for Studebaker and Hudson.

The are the same just with different centers. Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad you are enjoying the thread.

I did see those dark areas on the bumper...yeah its funny...it almost plays into that Custom points deal at the shows I have read here the discussion when Customs were getting outlandish for points towards the Hamb cutoff...I guess when its one mans canvas he is in charge of the end result and this of course is hugely subjective...

Not what I would have done...for instance if I had to have the openings in the lower valance I think it's called I would have put flush tinted Plexi to soften the harshness of the area that looks to need surgery for missing teeth.and I would have left the V8 center bar centered with the air pockets also centered...

  27. I had to find more photos of this truck. I wish I hadn't, because it only got worse. It looks better in the pic Anthony posted. At least in that 3/4 shit, it looks interesting. No no, reader, it is not interesting anymore. It is butt ugly. Mind you, I am ONLY referring to the grille area. The rest of the truck is fine, if you happen to love yellow. As for the grill area, it looks like someone hit it in the jaw too hard.[IMG]
