What highway was the Lincoln Highway? The map looks like it might be Highway 50 (the loneliest highway in America).

 

My dad drove truck for awhile. That picture reminds me of when he told me, you always use the same gear coming down as you did going up.
Don't forget, that truck probably didn't have a Jacobs brake .

 

There was a time when GM considered having a "Corvair" model in other product lines, like Olds and Pontiac.

 

The Lincoln Highway was route 30, it has some different numbers now through Pennsylvania. I was born at home, the Lincoln Highway was in front of my house
