   ...look fitness no snow...:D

This is a vintage survivor with a great story...The young fella who is a Hamber saw this when he was much younger and ended up with the keys as life evolved...

He's pretty passionate about preserving its past ambience keeping upgrades that have been many in tune with the good ole days...I enjoyed chatting with him and knew of it from past images shared here...

Think it was in Canadian Hot Rod magazine eh? I'm sure I've seen pics of the car before. Pretty cool time capsule for sure

I told him to get back on here...it belongs...it was a Brantford/Cambridge area Hotrod...actually local to the Show if I remember correctly...

...This happened though...but it stayed on thankfully...I shared this in another Thread and it may be related to crankcase ventilation...I get blowby on the Windshield and engine regularly, I just clean it off...but I think this was related to 1+hr superhighway jaunts between fillups and pressure...that I don't often do...

I did change the oil the day before I left...so a topped up crankcase, fresh oil in the tube and vibration may have also contributed...

I have considered putting in a pcv system aka early 60s vette as this engine was built with it in 68...

Doubt it...not in 68...these are the little details that make dressing something that had pcv as an older vintage without...No it is not ideal...but again never had more than a wipe of the shield and it does accumulate on the engine...but that night the extended drive the misting was different I suspect because of the cap becoming near dislodged...it is a breather cap...not sealed...which is good because it has to breathe somewhere...

The caps been on there 10 years and may be so saturated that may have played a roll as well...I don't do steady runs at 60-70mph often...

...I must mention that I met one of our Hamber friends @57JoeFoMoPar... from down yonder, New Jersey to be exact...about an 8 hour haul...in luxury of course in his Custom Olds...that was a treat...and also from Buffalo, @ModelAPunk...I didn't realize till later he also is a Musician in a Rockabilly flavored Band that graced the stage while I was out snappin pics...

...:)...Yes he's catching up to me but still a young fella. I was talking to a Photographer/Hamber/friend of Craigs and asked about a Beer Tent and he replied don't think so...he left and a minute or so later he gave me a cool one and I found out it was from Craig...truly, I had an awesome time...I met several other Hambers... @hightower611, @Jeff Norwell, @Joebrownvw, @blackanblue, @wuga, @'37-4D...there were no doubt many there that I may or may not have chatted with...perhaps I met you there...no matter again great time, great People, plenty of eye candy...and a blast of a drive...

  15. Recently attended Harvest Festival, mostly farming stuff, and a small showing of cars. Pictures of me and travelling companions, and another of friends 8N with 8BA installed.
    Great day to visit with everyone. IMG_0400 8nba r.jpg IMG_0411 buds r.jpg

Let's see some Canadian sizzle winter projects!! Started the remainder of the sheet metal work on the 56. Looking forward to some peaceful Sundays with some good tunes and quality time with the boy pushing the project forward.

Great that you can get it in the wind at this time of year. No snow or salt. Get it while you can.

Wasn't sure where to post this so thought I'd put it on here for the great Canucks to start. I know in today's interwebs world most guys go online but if anyone needs any info or pics out of the four books in the first pic, hit me up I'd be happy to look up and send pics etc. All about helping each other out! As for the six books in the second pic anyone who wants them, free. I have duplicates of a couple of them.

Here's some killer Canadian bacon for your viewing pleasure. Vid was shot during the historic hot rod reunion held at Mission Raceway this summer.

This is my '35 3W Coupe. It was built in Canada and sold in Saskatchewan where it remained until about 12 years ago when it went to a friend in Alberta - it now is resident in my Vancouver garage![IMG]

Oui Oui...I understand...a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do...its funny some Liquor/Beer Stores appear and function literally like the places some provinces and States down South operate...I have one in a small blinker of a hamlet 10 minutes from me...but most are as we see above...
