So here we go the 2022 edition of the Flathead Run is going to be different. We seem to have run out of flat head guys that want to travel from the East side for this run.The west side guys are still coming but not in large numbers. So we have been inviting other cars to join in and have been getting a good turn out. I still want to see as many flatheads as possible and will have special parking for them. Come on over, bring that Traditional Hot Rod and join the fun. The Hot Rod Cafe will be serving their delicious food and the laid back atmosphere is great for catching up with your buddies and making new friends. I hope you East side of the state guys prove me wrong and drive in your flat motors.
I have always enjoyed this gathering. Unfortunately we will be out in the wild in our Model T's exploring the area around Jordan Valley Oregon and the edge of Idaho for awhile on both sides of that date. People, if you can make it, the Monitor run is a lot of fun and the Hot Rod Cafe has terrific food! The owners there have always treated us like family! Sorry we can't make it this year. I've always loved the East West Flathead run but now it is the same day as the Concours de Maryhill aka the Maryhill car show at the Maryhill Museum. That is 60 miles from the house and my other favorite small event.
Okay guys, pack your chairs and coolers and get some shut eye it's time to load up and head for Monitor tomorrow morning. Weather is supposed to be good Stevens pass is supposed to be open. See you there.
