New to the forum. I recently found my old high school car, a 1955 Plymouth belvedere with a 3-speed manual transmission. The engine was shot, so I am having to replace it with a more recently built 318 that came out of a 1968 Dodge coronet. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if anyone makes and/or where I can get an adapter plate to mount the 1955 Plymouth 3 speed manual tranny to a 1968 318 engine's manual 3 speed bellhousing. The bolt pattern for the 4 mounting bolts don't quite match up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
