Those are both super cool, don't have any info on them, other than the blue one has a Kaiser engine, so may not be DeSoto based.

There is no telling how many cars were cut up to build that one but it a pretty nice job of picking the parts and putting them together to come out as an early 50's sports car coupe. ***led as a 57, = Probably used the ***le for the car that donated the engine with maybe enough of that car to incude the plate with the serial number/vin. Built the way most customs or home made sports cars were back in the day. Cut parts off donor cars and fit those parts together to make a car without an English wheel, shrinker/stretcher or power hammer. The car was pretty obviously redone in the past few years paint and interiorwise but amazingly nothing was touched under the hood. meaning no underhood updates at all. Not everyone is into or understands "Period correct" and so be it. All in all one really cool car that I sure would like to know the history on. Plus I would sure get a kick out of driving it.
I kinda like the little turd from the outside whoever built it had a good eye. But the inside doesn’t work. Seats, upholstery color and style just seems wrong. Also too much red. Maybe a black and white interior would be better or just white for that matter.
