I am stuck at work, looking at my car outside and absolutely chomping at the bit to hit the road. Thanks for taking us along on your trip!

 

I’ve ripped every upper shock mount off my car more than once. Rough roads and the Midwest go hand in hand. Lol. Seeing posts on social media thst the host hotel lot of starting to populate. Headed that way shortly

You are more than welcome. Thanks for riding along. Get on out this weekend...come on dropped down to US 60. I don't know what it was about US 64 and I drive dirt roads in this Cabriolet routinely, it is the rough paved road I've ever been on

US 60 turned into divided highway after it went under I 35 Pahawska OK getting close...

Haha...I like that wagon better. And, that’s the car that Silas rode in a few times that likely led to him getting one. Floyd Dutton built it and gave Silas a few rides and now Dan Shea from Texas has it.

My schedule worked out well
I got to the host hotel and checked in by 3:30 local time.
I'm going to continue to post thru the event and return trip.

I find the architecture intriguing as well...much different than I am accustomed to. I try to remember that you guys just want to see what I am seeing. That's why I included just plain old road shots...thanks for the feedback

Made it to the house a couple hours ago. Was surprised how many oooooooold old gas stations I saw abandoned along the two lanes on our way down
