The Cabby has always treated me well...though I hit a real rough stretch of road and the engine momentarily died and then took off with a backfire out the exhaust. Stopped and checked wiring connections, I suspect the fuse holder we shall see...

Ok...I scanned through really quick, as I got home to a LONG "honey-do" list. Did I miss the story about dinner at Murphy's and how you got back to the hotel???

 

The Uber driver took me back because my ride to Murphy's took Silis to the hospital

Yep, full story in my thread on Silas’s Edsel. Wasn’t the Friday evening we expected.

 

Silas dislocated his shoulder as we arrived to the restaurant. It took a trip to the hospital to get it relocated....he survived just took my ride in the process...all is good just a bummer in the moment especially for Silas

ran out of battery just before Guymon OK but got you most of the way there. 350 trouble free miles today with lots of stops. Didn't push as hard as the trip out. The weather has been great though in the high 80's, low 90's in the afternoon. I'm bummed that most all the HAMB friendly era cars, trucks and equipment that used to be plentiful in the country I'm traveling, is no longer around....at least that I've been able to scope out
