In my opinion, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the Corvair. It always offered decent transportation, especially after they re-did the rear independent suspension...

Ain't nothing new in the car industry except all the computerized crap. I just saw retention straps on the rear axle of a 1913 Cadillac, just like a '62 Corvette has.
I don’t know about anyone else but there is no hand crank in the photo I see. The charger is not automatic and needs to periodically change resistance as the car battery is charged.
