Some flame and pinstripe ideas. I’m sure there are other great patterns. 42674E54-34FA-45A2-8E3C-013545E096AC.jpeg 70397BBF-6224-490D-BCF9-C4563BFE5B19.jpeg 863583B2-0AB6-4665-81AC-B7F37E42A031.jpeg

I was thinking of a rat, but I can see a rabbit too.

  5. That's the most copied Von Dutch design ever. Dutch called it "Harvey, shaken by crossbreeding" and yes it is a rabbit.

Mr Mick really knows his pinstrips. I have admired the skills for years. I probably couldn’t pull a decent line to save my life.

  8. I think Dick Dean did a sneaky chop on a sedan years ago that involved dropping the body without cutting the roof at all. I don't have pics, but I'm sure someone on here will pipe up.

  9. Run that by me again? How do you chop a roof without chopping it?

This is how you chop a sedan without cutting the roof. I know of what I speak... upload_2022-10-15_10-41-5.png

Read and look at the pictures again. Dick chopped the A,B and C pillars and dropped the rear into the body

It's still a chopped top no matter how you look at it or how you phrase it

Yes that's it. If I'm remembering correctly those were taken at Nats North in 98 by Steve Hendricks/Hendrickson. His handle here was Just Steve. Been a couple of changes since back then. It was a 396/T-350 then now 454/700R4, 4 wheel drum brakes then, now 4 wheel disc

I decided to open this up to 1941 Merc ideas also. The ‘41 Mercury is a one year only also on the front clip. I might end up choosing one over the Ford.

I’m trying to make mine a little prettier without cutting up the body. Doing brakes, suspension, wheels and tires right now.

Wow! I like your coupe! And, you are close by so maybe I’ll see it in person soon?
