This image confuses me. It must be a new photo made to look old because I am pretty sure we had a discussion on here and determined that vintage hot rods were primered and didn't have chrome bits and fancy guts. Probably a photoshop.

I was just looking through some old 1955 articles and magazines and a 1955 Ford Coupe hit my brain with a ding...



So, I don't think that photo is a photoshop item. Some of the old photos certainly look like old cars and through photoshop, can made to be looking rather old. But, this one is from a Hot Rod Magazine from 1955. In more recent times, I have used a small step ladder to get a top down photo for something different than just a side view.

As good as a computer photo program(s) is/are, the original shows some longevity and coolness. My brother and I probably saw this version sitting in our neighborhood liquor store/market in the magazine station, until our dad finished his weekly shopping spree.

 

I believe Billy was being sarcastic in his post.
