Staying with the October Halloween inspired month, in recent times it is a popular thing to have the “Heaviest Pumpkin Contests” all over the USA. But, the resulting winner’s large pumpkins all look like “Jabba The Hut…” They actually do not look like pumpkins we are accustomed to seeing in the pumpkin patches.

So, in our hot rod/drag race world, the winner of the Sports Car Class eliminations during the Halloween Drag Race Meet, won the miniature version of a sporty car with the largest “actual pumpkin looking” winner in the bed of the prize.

No one can steal the sporty car, the broom and pull toy, they are are all stick shift vehicles. Ha!

The Orange/Black versions of the old drawings give the bright colors, we normally see, a gloomy feeling during the Halloween Drag Race Festivities at night. BOO!

Aaron, You killed it with that sketch. That is awesome. And a tip of the lid to the rest of the FAS crew for their work. Question: nothing wrong with Sat. art show, but how come you guys don't post on fridays? We all look forward to FAS and it's hit and miss to find Sat.AS. Just asking.

This is a thing about Friday Art and Saturday Art. The Friday Art was supposed to be your own work, drawings and such.
@wicarnut started the Saturday Art thread for artists that do hot rod art, but are given copyright credit, not just a copy and post from the internet. So, a great example is Steve Stanford would be on a Saturday Art. There are plenty of artists that do great art of hot rods, drag racing and woodies. So, there are plenty to showcase.

Whereas, when someone draws their own art like @hotrodjack33 , then that goes on Friday Art thread. This is what has happened from the start and has changed over to the new version of Friday Art that lasts only until Monday morning. Mainly due to those that keep putting non HAMB art copied from the internet and posting them. Then some kind of discussion follows and the art thread gets moved or deleted on a minimum basis. That is too bad that there are those that just cannot follow the rules.

I have contributed to both Friday Art with my own versions of drawings and designs. Then I have a list of artists that I have purchased some art and those that follow the So Cal lifestyle that involves hot rods and station wagons. Plus there are those that are fantastic drag racing artists that never get credit.

I like both threads and it shows the creativity of artists that like hot rods in their drawings. YRMV
