    This is a perfect car to use as inspiration for a build. I even like the color.

    The car carried different numbers for different years -- the numbers reflect their SCTA points position in the previous year. I don't know when that changed, but now you can choose your own number and keep it as long as you keep it active. The engine letters were determined by size -- A being the smallest and D the biggest. Now, it's the opposite with AA the biggest and K the smallest. Here's my old roadster in 1955 with 58 as number -- I don't know if that's the old style or the newer.

  8. I believe they used 35 fender braces for the headlight stands I’m going to have to source a set out for this car! I’m definitely obsessed in the worst of ways with Sam’s T ahaha glad this thread helped in any sort of way!
