Awesome! Like the way you cleaned up the front end.
One more idea. I could buy a panel van or whatever the correct term. Cut off the roof behind the door 6DDA8995-B129-48F3-89BB-93E3CE780FB5.jpeg , weld in a new cab back, with the big back window. The “bed” body line matches the door perfectly.

Looks like the wheels might have been too much so I did something a little more conservative.

Yup, the wheel police around here are no joke.

Here's my version of the '46 Buick sedan. I did two versions. Both are shaved and lowered.
The first is chopped about an inch, the the roof crown thinned an inch. Removed vent windows to give a longer look.
The second version is the same, but also sectioned below the belt line about two inches.

Just to see what it would look like can you make the tops of the box sides line up with the bottom of the door glass (belt line)? I’ve always thought the boxes on those PUs looked out of place not lining up with the belt line. Thank you.

I've been away for two weeks, but really wanted to give this one a shot. I started with the same photo Madfish used.
My version is dropped a bit in the tail with '55 Dodge trim stretched out. I went with Chrome reverse wheels since the Lancers have been done.

@Unclebrad Thanks getting closer to what I'm looking for. 60's style hot rod pickup . Blue in color.
Something is missing just can't figure out what it is. Need to lose the chrome 4 bars.

Thanks @madfish . I still want blue. Other than that you nailed it.
The bed cover was what I was missing. Also thinking a padded top.

  26. Hey Wayne I haven't been around for a couple of days and I almost missed your challenge. Bad Chad is known for his off the wall body styling so I left it alone to see how the finished product could look.

Moose, nice job…you did him justice. I couldn’t deal with the proportions so ended up shortening, sectioning and restyling the roof.

I'm bored, so I photoshopped a mutation of hot rod and vintage road racer. Is that so wrong?
