@TRJ we know you come on from time to time, it would go a long way for some of us if you could at the least answer our enquiries.

I have tried on multiple occasions to call both #'s I have been able to find to no avail, I was hoping to change my address before anything was to be shipped however I'm more or less of the opinion I am never to see my magazines at this point.

I have had a very nice member of the forum approach me about sending me his personal copy of #84 as he knows how much I was looking forward to it - a truly appreciated offer I may end up taking him up on - too bad he's felt the need to stand up and reach out when @TRJ has not.

Hey Guys, I am not international, unless you consider West Virginia international. Three years is long enough listening to the TRJ bull shit.

Agreed three years is a long time to wait and that communication has been less than ideal. So---what's you plan? What are you going to do now?

Interesting I received an email from TRJ today, it is shown below

  8. Ok, so TRJ is run by one guy. I am shocked that among his readers there isn't a man or woman out there willing to lend a hand with his mag. Where are you office managers, retired newspaper people, car nuts, journalism interns, whiners, couch potatoes and assorted miscreants ? Step up volunteer maybe get a subscription. Somebody out there roll up your sleeves for a good cause.

  10. I feel the same way. I have emailed them, tried to call them to no avail. it's been long enough. I should have the respect to answer emails or retun subscribed as a lifetime member and feel i got bet out of the 200 plus dollars they took. if he can make appearances at shows, he should be respectful to us with a yes or no

Same story here, no reply to emails, voice mail box full. A friend called the number (he has a caller ID block on his land line) and asked about his sub and when the mag might be on news stands. The instant he said he was calling from Canada, they hung up. The email I sent had a suffix of .ca and of course my call would display the 403 area code.Real customer confidence building there. I have not seen any on shelves since #82. I would like to hear if anyone in Canada has seen their subscription honoured or seen copies on the shelves any where. The Int'l shipping excuse doesn't fly. We see machine parts come from Turin, Italy typically in 10- 14 days, Speedway orders take 5 -9 days. I had a caliper kit ordered, left LA at 12:21 and in my mailbox(Canada)at 14: 38 the next afternoon. Making the USPS into private entity won't help, Canada Post became a 'Crown coporation' in the late 70s, the only improvement has been in parcel delivery in the last 15 yrs as it is the most lucrative section of their business.
I would love to see things as they were with TRJ, and would resume buying it,but forgive me if I remain jaded and skeptical

The unbelievably cheap lifetime subscription was a giant red flag…surprised it lasted this long!

So US subscribers get their goods but not one international customer has received anything. So Rodders Journal have pocketed our money and are basically selling us a blatant lie.
Is that gaining money by ‘deception’ or is it just plain and simple fraud?

I’m in California, renewed my subscription with issue 84. I received 84. I got the email but have not seen 85. I have emailed, almost daily with zero results. I was a dealer for RJ for over 10 years. It’s getting ridiculous at this point.

Well, I just tried to call TRJ and it resulted in a message that the voice mailbox was full and that I couldn’t leave a message and was told to hang up.

Then I sent an email to the customer service email address and said that I was a lifetime subscriber and used my member (subscriber) number, asking when I could expect to receive my # 84 and #85 issues.

What do you think the odds are for me to receive a reply? :D

Anyone outside of the US received their new issue ?
    Anyone ?
Anyone outside of the US who has even had your existence as subscriber or customer acknowledged ?

    How about within the US.
Has everyone in the US received what they were promised ?

I am in New Zealand. I ordered #84 back in November 2020, never got it. When the new round of emails came out I emailed TRJ in August 2022 to see what chance I had of getting it. Got an email back 5 days later saying they would resend it. Nothing yet, but will see what happens ?

It’s starting to seem like the resurrection of TRJ has been full of empty promises.

I wanted it to be legitimate as much as everyone else maybe even more so.
At this point it’s not looking good.

When I read this quote & see theses pictures , I think to myself if I had gone to Louisville this year I could have bought both Issues #84 & #85 to complete the collection , but then think to myself , WHY Steve would have these issues on sale at the show when you know that your International customers did not receive #84 and #85 had not even been shipped to any current subscribers , domestic or International.
I'm glad for those of you that have received the lastest issue.
It is very clear now that international subscribers have a very slim chance of getting theirs , so with that said .... I'm done ..... now hoping for the next Hop up issue .

The price, a bundle. paid for the booth at the nationals would've made a big dent in the costs of printing and shipping. Face it he's not bringing it back simply getting rid of what he has in stock and taking money for new subscriptions which won't be honored

I've yet to get my new issue, and I have a subscription. I've tried calling, but nothing, not even the chance to leave a message.

I'll be honest, I'm in Steve's corner, and I love the magazine. I just wish he/they would let me know if I'll get my subscription issues or not. I'm not above paying for a new one, even though I only got one issue with my current subscription.

For the guys who are happy to pay for a new copy (even though they have already paid for and not received their original copy) good on you for wanting to support Rodders Journal.

But before you do that perhaps consider the following...............

Despite many promises that they would be shipped, no Australia direct subscribers received issues 83, 84 and now 85 Rodders Journal.

But they have shipped all three issues (including 85) to their Australian distributor (Graffiti Publications) but NOT TO DIRECT SUBSCRIBERS.

For those who want to keep their collection complete you can buy direct from Graffiti but the cost is $40 AUD plus $15 postage.

So that means if like me
    • you paid for a lifetime subscription ($460 USD for international subscribers)
    • plus a B cover subscription running and
    • a T shirt order (paid for and not received).
Then that adds up to quite a few $ for a $15.99 USD for a journal that you have already paid for.

Now I am not on the bare bones of my arse for coin but if the guy can ship to his suppliers, but makes promises and then will not respond to subscribers, then that person my friend regardless of what sort of magazine they put out does not deserve my support.

If one day Rodders Journal actually does stump up and ships the international copies to direct subscribers I will be pleasantly surprised but I will never issue an apology for my comments in relation to their crap communications and possibly the worst customer service I have ever had the misfortune to encounter.

There will be no more $ flowing from me into Steve's pocket regardless of what happens from here.

I imagine comments would end if promises which go unfulfilled weren't made every so often. The lifetime subscription deals were the "handwriting on the wall". Three years of broken promises and some still think naysayers are wrong and the magazine will make it back.
