I’m pretending you posted them once but someone spun me around a couple times as I looked at them lol
Well got my old cast aluminum eldebrock valve covers on and 97% of the orange house paint that was on them off and then I cut down a stock 34 ford pick up dash and took some metal out of a junk 52 Chevy trunk lid I had around for the sides and top
Little update for everyone and no bad news to report . The little hotrod jus keeps on keepin on tons of miles on her, needs a pan hard bar and front shocks. Oh! And an Oldsmobile has followed me home now as ya can see in the background a different seat a couple hour trip will wear your ass out
Wow.I might be afraid something's gonna blow! LOL BTW, I thought you had a blower set up for this. No? D
@dmar836 blower motor will be a totally different motor. Need to get the car 100% sorted before throwing twice the power at it. sure is a lot of fun to ride in though!
Austin.... You do realize I'm Sure... A tow bar, a flat stock ol school trailer hitch.... That's the Money $hot! Looking Good Dog!
We’ve talked about flat towing the T with the olds or even a single axle bare bones, boardline boat, trailer. Some slicks, a tool box and a cooler in the trunk of the olds and your golden!
Don't think your dash will clear the window cranks. It doesn't on my coupe with its 40 dash. I hope to document the necessary mods on my build thread soon.
thanks fellas! and yes flat towing behind my olds has crossed my mind, I've got it running an shifting its got a 303/hyrda and the blower is still fresh in my mind jus gotta come up with enough dough for the belt and snout!
I don’t know if his doors have any guts in them. I know we talked at one point about doing plexi windows with a tab at the top. Pull the tab up and snap it to the top of the window to “roll it up” would work around the dash issue I think? also I’m curious, are the window mechanics the same on both side just flip flopped? I noticed in my A the other day that the inner door has the standings on both sides like the panel and the window regulators are the same both left and right. Which makes me wonder if you could just flip them around and have the window crank towards the back of the door instead of the front? guess then it’s hitting your arm not thee dash lol.
Been a min fellas but I must be off my rocker! Found a new to me mill for the ol T!!!! 39,000 on the clock and got to fire it up one more time before pulling. It’s out of my grandpas old fire truck he used to putt around in
Sent the Gen to be converted to 12v and the starter to be rebuilt with my old man, (he owns an auto electric shop so that’s a time and money saver!)
Well I don't like the color of it. Lookin good my friend, just needs to be shoved into place and fired off.
I’m really not sure yet it was my grandpas old fire truck and my moms using it as yard art (I know it’s a sin) so I talked her into letting me at least save the engine and put it to use which she agreed too
