Must be. I was looking closely at this one as he was a former club member in the Lords Car Club which I am a member of now.
I believe the heavy chopped 32 3w was at Great Bend, KS... local Salina, KS native owned Bill's Speed Shop. He was about the height of Danny Deveto...fit the coupe just right.
There's a couple of unusual details in this photo. First, it appears that the car is preparing to fire up on a roller starter. That probably helps to date the photo somewhat. The second item is more of a mystery, to me at least. That's the black handprint "logo" behind the driver's head on the rear body shrouding. I don't ***ociate it with any business. Was it possibly a racing team or club emblem? Or maybe it was just a smart-*** inside joke in response to Eelco's footprint logo. Anyone seen it before?
Looks like this first guy ^^^^(with the white socks) is about as excited as I woulda been being around a AA/Fueler. (check his jeans!) 6sally6
