Not sure but the front wheels look like American Lemans.
One thing I've always noticed about many of the T buckets (especially) of the 60's was the incorporation of a lot of "serious" drag racing components like spindle mount wheels, slicks and blowers.

true, not all old hot rods were great looking cars, Many people never rolled the car out of the garage and stepped back for a good look until it was too late!!

70's style fat tire disc brake T buckets are off topic, I don't want to have to clean this up AGAIN

I shot a couple of T-buckets with spoke front wheels and recycled dragster slicks in the mid sixties for the magazines. One of the buckets was a 180" WB that was nothing more than a street legal dragster. These cars were in Southern California.

Post 1361 is Dode Martin in the black car and Jim Nelson in the green sweater with Dragmaster T buckets. Photo looks like it was shot at the Carlsbad CA shop

how about something like the firestone indy-type tires? and while not common i think some mid-60s cars had early discs. but yeah... 80s gm discs would be obviously a no-no.

i'm honestly not trying to be a smart aleck but i know chips (de-ugly) has coilovers out back and that thing seems beloved on the hamb.

there really isn't a cut and dry, they had this or didn't have that. but I spent some time on several occasions cleaning up T buckets with independent rear suspension, Mickey Thompson sportsman tires, Efi converted hilborns and other such obvious nonsense . everyone here should really know the difference between a hot rod and a street rod by now.....
