    Yes, it is December and art cars should be Red, but think of this sedan as a large piece of coal.

    Hello,

    To get the month of December off to the holiday spirit of “RED” hot rod/custom car drawing colors, here is a 1948 Chrysler Sedan highly modified to become a nice looking Chrysler Station Wagon. But, in cruiser “Black.” The original body style had good bones and it made sense to make it into a cool station wagon. Think, COAL for those "other" folks...

    But, similar to the GM models that flip new valve covers, some fender work and styling touches, it takes a Chevrolet into a Pontiac. With a few factory modifications, the styling is still staying similar in motors, drive lines, and various models. Is it a Hemi Desoto or Chrysler?

    So, why not jump to the Plymouth cousin and make a cool surf wagon that we used to see at the local So Cal beach scenes and surf movies playing all over the coastal areas.
