    That process seems cool. However, during the segment where they are drilling into the two it seems to me when they drill into the graphite mixture the drill is on reverse...

    So, it's a 50/50 mix of graphite & baking soda mixed with Super glue?

    Baking soda and superglue is a long time fix for hard plastics. Search around on YouTube.

    Anytime you can add super glue to something else and it produces smoke, you know you're onto something good! :eek: And that you should probably be working in a well ventilated area.

    Rather than do all that mucking about with a pencil just buy Graphite powder.

    Would be interesting to compare to kitty hair. I always seem to have a can that I use a small amount of, then it sits around.
    The mix shown is Fast Cure and has an advantage there.

    I forgot to mention that in my previous post. Not just for lock lubrication any more!
