Has anyone set up a bail fund?

  6. Hey @Lloyd's paint & glass you are telling your neighbors this a "family reunion" right? Don't want no snoops or snitches tipping off the fuzz, cuz ya never know what kind of hoodlums are gonna show up!

Lloyd, is the track Bluegrass Raceway Park or I-64 Motorplex? Or is it one in the same? If what I'm seeing is right, this is an eighth mile track.

Just a wild ass guess but my money is on all of Lloyd's neighbors being hoodlums as well. No offense intended:cool:

I've been to Ky. Several times... You can't swing a dead cat without hit'n a knife maker or moonshiner. The whole state smells like fresh bondo and tiger hair.
The folks have always welcomed me with open arms. Sometime during the day a shootn match is usually held. and the evening usually ended in a stupor... Can't wait to get back!

  10. You’re almost a neighbor at 200 miles. I’m a definite, possible maybe. If I can ever get my 40 back on the road.

This is the I-64 motorplex. It's 1/8th mile. I think it was called the bluegrass before, there's a 1/4 mile track in Clay city, we just call it clay city, I think it was the mountain parkway dragstrip? Not sure on its name now.

Well, there's a state trooper that lives across the road from me, but he's my drinking and fishing buddy. Other than that, I don't really have neighbors, at least not what most people call neighbors lol. About 350 acres right here, and there are 4 houses. But they all know me, and like me, I think lol

I looked it up, Clay city is "Kentucky dragway" now. It's the 1/4 mile track. Probably half hour from my house. 1/8th mile track is 5 minutes away

Don't ask me how I know but cops make some of the best hoodlums. Again, no offense intended.

There are times I hate living in the PNW. All the fun stuff is happening in the heartland.

That’s why I like living in Oklahoma! It’s close to the center of the nation! So it’s only about 1500 miles to about anywhere in the lower 48! I have been to races in Tennessee, Illinios, South Dakota, Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire along with many “ local” races in Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas and of course Oklahoma! But you West coast guys have a lot of fun, right?

I like the weather most of the time around here. Year round skiing one hour away, ocean beaches one hour away, Golf practically year round if you don't mind a little rain and urban camping just across the bridge. But I want to come play cars with the rest of the guys.

We just tell people that to keep them from moving here. Seriously though, it gets old. But June is just around the corner

I've always envied the car scene out west, nice weather year round, hot rodding heritage, etc... but the more friends I get from that region, the less envious I am, sounds like an expensive place to be

Wow! It’s going to get below zero, here in Oklahoma, in a few days!

    Billy,

Just act like you're one of the rich guys and ship your roadster ahead of time, then fly in. I (or someone else that's there) will come pick you up at the airport.
