First fit up on hinges, fits close. Gonna need to build a brace system for quarters until it gets inner fenders and floors to hold em in place 20221107_194806.jpg 20221107_194733.jpg 20221107_194711.jpg 20221107_194647.jpg

Great work on this Willys. I`m going to be starting on my coupe body in 2023.I don`t have the same amount of work to do as you did but, I still have a fair share as its a old race car as well. I`m currently working on the chassis. I want the foundation done before I get to the body.

Right on! Cool be sure and do a build thread on yours too! I wanted to do chassis first but my chassis guy wanted a good straight body first. It was really out of whack so I had no choice. Sure is making it tough as I'm having to build support structure to hold it all in place til it goes on chassis table

For what it worth, Isn't there another 'Bracket' that fits between the Inner Brace and outer Decklid Skin? Also did you Fab the Tail Pan or is it Stock? This is a Fantastic Willys Build. Envious I don't possess those Skills!

Hi, thank you! Yes there would have been a bracket stock. This decklid was run for many years with the entire structure cut out and no issues. I wanted an inner structure and felt it will be not necessary and also harder to paint with inner bracket. Tail pan is stock replacement from Lee Kay, a hero in this build

    The 3 pieces worked perfectly, what a relief. 20221222_150448.jpg 20221222_150426.jpg 20221222_150448.jpg 20221222_150426.jpg 20221222_150411.jpg 20221222_150400.jpg
