  2. Merry Christmas Jeff!
We have been greeting hammered by the wind for a couple days now. Thankfully the snow was moderate but it keeps on creating fanciful new snow drifts everywhere.

Here we go, Merry Christmas every HAMBer down in HAMBville!

    Merry Christmas guys!

Not done yet...but my daughter asked me if could make a sign for my 13 month old grandson with his name and a cat on it. Since he is my grandson, I knew she mispronounced car when she said cat. :D Still need to paint it, but did get it cut in steel.

    Hello,

The Hot Wheels group gets as close to reality as possible. Sometimes, they create something for everyone to like, despite the funny add ons as they seem fit. A funny looking 671 supercharger, 5 sparkplug heads and then, when sales seems to slow down, many different commercial versions, like the “UNO” card game coupe. A UNO card game coupe? A what???
    upload_2022-12-23_6-49-37.png
In 1998, the original version of a 1932 3 window was made and at least they had a 4 sparkplug hemi motor, but as usual the standard funny looking huge rims they rolled well, but was out of place on an old hot rod. Then over the years, new paint, new wheels and still, the 4 plug hemi motor.
upload_2022-12-23_7-34-51.png Ford Gulf and a 32 Ford Hot Wheels? Corporate tie in with sponsorships…
    upload_2022-12-23_7-35-41.png a rare version

    Jnaki
upload_2022-12-23_7-36-41.png Then one year, this showed up on a present.
Somewhere down the line, the creative juices were spiked with something and a 5 spark plug version came out. But, at least the wheels were trying to be 5 spoke popular wheels. And, for those buying these popular versions, who cared if it was an experimental 10 cylinder Hemi Motor from Detroit via Redondo Beach?
    upload_2022-12-23_7-37-45.png
And a notation that most will not get, other than recognition of an old Ford coupe from those early times past… or a thank you for an “Early Times Car Club” member, as part of the Hot Wheels Team for many years.

Part of our granddaughter’s annual Christmas Tree hot rod, custom car “Gathering of The Tribes…”at the base of her own Christmas Tree since 2005.

But, does the Red 1932 Hot Wheels Coupe exist in real life? Well, sort of, as much as real life can get. Minus two cylinders, of course.

Merry Christmas to all! We are just starting to break out of the deep freeze a bit here today (temps have been in the -30 to -40 Celsius range with nasty windchills and snow) so this drawing just seems appropriate. 63BD8D36-3377-4BB3-807D-7D3545057AC9.jpeg

Start with my F-100 that I sold to Hallmark for the Evergreen Christmas movies, and some other trinkets.

@Jeff Norwell, I have been staring at this for what seems to be hours. How in the world do you get this type of detail??? How many hours does it take to produce a masterpiece like this?
