Cool stuff, so much potential. That truck is rare especially in that condition. Tow vehicle, home built camper?

I can’t wait to see your completed race truck. So far it looks great.

    Thanks Dave!
It should be ready this summer. Come over and take a look. Maybe you could give us some pointers.

We are still working on the truck but the Lakester has been a big distraction.
We'll have it on display at the Oaks, PA show this Friday and Saturday and then at the York Motorsports show in February.
Tom Pease did the paint and body work and now he's working on the belly tank. IMG_20230113_100910670.jpg

Is the School bus in the background destined to be a custom race car/truck hauler?

Man! You guys never quit. I bet you don't wear out as many recliners as I do. :(

I don't have a recliner but I can't work in the garage 12 hours like some of the youngsters. 4:30 and I'm done for the day!

  17. I stash new parts in my living room too, tires, wheels, engine parts. One Xmas it took me 1.5 hours to move all the parts outside to the garage. I now have my power steering conversion parts in my front foyer.

I can't believe I only now saw this. Such a cool truck, I'll be following along now! My avatar is my 1946 GMC. Mine has 455 Buick power.

Thank you. Things are moving slowly. We're waiting for pistons and have to build a bed.

    Hey @Marcia
How is the progress coming along, are you going to be able to attend speed-week that is coming up?

We'll be at Speedweek with the 608 Lakester. We haven't worked on the truck because of other projects that came up. We'll get back to it after Bonneville. Will you be there?

It's cool that the 608 Lakester will be going, I was hoping to see the cool 46 G.M.C. project make its appearance, but in due time no doubt. I cant make it this year as other plans are in motion. Have fun and be safe out there this year.
    Thanks from Dennis.

This is a very cool build. Thanks for showing all of the details. That's quite a stack of recent acquisitions. Hopefully you won't mind doing build threads on them - would be fun to watch.
