Technical What did you do with your car today? * NEW*

Had a chance to do a little work on our '47. Finish sanded and painted the windshield garnish.

Project is getting to feel like @topher5150 "one piece at a time" coupe the last several weeks.

This '50 Chrysler Crown Maroon looks almost black in my basement's light.

 

Made darn sure I had enough antifreeze in both Hamb friendly cars, the temperatures are predicted to be -2 in the morning, the South ain't suppose to get that damn cold! HRP

 

Can't really do a damn thing. It's 7 degrees here with 40 mile an hour winds and a wind chill of -10 degrees. Winter SUCKS!

 

haven't left the house since I got home Friday night.

The good news is that my little Harbor Freight garage survived, intact and in place, the blizzard of '22. The less-than-desirable news is that my car looks like a powdered sugar donut.

 

Piled all the crap in the "open" half of the garage onto and into my '36 so I can bring my daughters OT piece in to replace the howling ps pump. Thats my CHRISTMAS gift to her. Ha, I hate working on her car,,,no fun at-all. I'd rather be driving the '36 but the weather is not cooperating .

 

That's one thing kids never stop doing. They continue to find opportunities for you to be a good daddy.

Getting the frame ready for painting -- then reassembly can start

 

Drove it to work since the snow melted from last week and it is supposed to be in the 60's today.

 

Got my FED project on 4 wheels for the first time today. I have to admit I'm pretty pleased
