Event Coverage where are we going 2023

Looking forward to 2023, we are planning on Viva Las Vegas , Steel in Monition at union Dragway, Run to the Sun at Myrtle Beach, auto fair in Charlette NC and the Turkey run in Daytona for Thanksgiving, So just wandering where others are planning to be Happy New Years and safe travels.

You guys are planners! Haven't even really thought about it yet. Probably best that I do since I have to run all this stuff by the wife.

 

Turlock swap meet, March Meet and in my old garage making stuff.

 

Lloydfest!

 

Will hit some car shows near Saratoga while we skip the bad weather this winter. Arriving tomorrow.

 

Bonneville. is there anything else?

 

Haven’t really planned much beyond Stray Kat 500, Gathering at the Roc, a few Hot Rod Hundred’s, and Lead Ain’t Dead.

 

How could I forget Lloydfest. I need to look at calendor again.

Back to the Fifties and the Midwest 40 gathering are a must. I am hoping to work in Lloydstock, and if Dale does a 33-34 event, that will be a huge target.

 

I'm going to be moving 800 miles this summer to a much more populated area for family reasons. There'll be lots of events to explore I'm sure.

This last year made me realise that there are a lot of things I have put off, and now need to do and enjoy.

I’m going to demolish the single car fibro shed and build something with a 4-post hoist.

I’m going to finish my FED and see if I can pull the first ever sub-11 second run with a Holden grey motor. I’ve got a lot of learning to do on dragsters.

I’m going to whale on the avatar at the drags every chance I get, and not worry about breaking it.

I’m going to live vicariously through Lloydstock (can you drink shine virtually?) and donate to the Gofundme page to raise bail money.

x2. I haven't found anything better. Car shows don't really interest me much anymore.
May try to hit some more regional swap meets too.

 

Planning to go for the first time this year. What are the dates and the best days to attend, may only be able to attend 1 or 2 days.

 

2022 we had 2 months in USA and plan to return 2023 for another 2 month
BUT airfares are now so expensive, 2019 we flew return for $A1000 each
now return tickets are as high as $A3000 each

 

The reservations arrived for Hershey last week, so everything else is just daydreaming, Turlock, GNRS, and Pebble Beach. Hope everyone has a Happy New Year!
