    1. This retired machinist is very impressed as well. Coming up with the layout is one thing, but creating it and actually making it work is genius. Would have loved to have known your dad.

That’s amazing I agree with dddenny I like seeing these types of photos I was fortunate to have a dad who taught me how to solve problems he taught me many things but by far the most important thing he taught me was to think outside the box for a simple solution and sky six the guy your describing was my dad he would sit there and draw things out on the floor with soapstone I still do that today

    Hey B,
Your photos last more than one day. That collection of photos is gone due to someone in the collection or place where you got the photos changed the process of "borrowing" the photos. A name change of the photos or the folder in which they came from the original person with the site. One letter change in the original, will make all red X's show up.

Having a collection of photos is like being at the mercy of the original owner. I changed the title of one little folder in my own films and photos. The digital photos inside of that folder were labeled unavailable on a website. So, it happens. I had to track it down and remake the photo/film insert.

How to save those borrowed photos for your own? You can do many versions of re-labeling, but they are not your own photos. I do not know how far back those digital connections go, but one change will do it every time. Anyone can save and relabel, but why? Even if you personally took the photos and own them out right. A digital label is a puzzling thing. YRMV

  25. LOL...I have thousands of images on file but sometimes when I post to multiple forums, it's easier to share them that way....copy, paste, boom.
But not here...THIS is the only site with the screwed up Red X's...and I post everywhere...seriously weird format!

  27. Hope this fits here, lots of history and some great names assembled this car, Bob Gerdes just passed away this week, was his last project as was Pat Foster's last build.
Mike Sforza just passed as well...enjoy.
