i wonder if that might have been "the girl from uncle"? stephanie powers starred with noel harrison as her sidekick.
@dan c ...I had to go look at pictures from that show. She has the look & drives a roadster, but she does NOT have the mole next to her mouth! God Bless & Happy New Year Bill https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...ar-transport-hauling-open-or-enclosed.614419/

Nobody Has mentioned the Monkey Mobile? But that had come way later in my love cars seen on TV. I think the first I seen Was the Kookie Car on 77 Sunset Strip or The Barris XM: SC210 I think it was called on Dobie Gillis.
Thanks for the post. I watched it and enjoyed the damned thing! It was filmed in Canada, although I didn't hear one "eh?" in the whole movie! Go figger, eh?
Thanks for posting! Not a bad flick... Not a big Hollywood production: take a look at the credits at the end.... looks like it was funded and promoted by locals who had an interest in racing activity in their area. I'd give it a couple of thumbs up and I applaud the people involved. Based on a true story and actual driver's bio's.
Being a DP myself, I worked quite a bit on this kind of productions behind the camera and in post as a colorist, editor and 3D Artist (I did the CGI for "Duce of Spades" for example). I really like the spirit and attitude of those productions - always a challenge though, since budgets are usually super tight and you have to improvise all the time. Still doing it from time to time. and really enjoying it. Frank
didn't see the part about the mole. you're thinking about "honey west." i believe she drove a cobra. anne francis starred.
The Blue Danube Buick was near the end of episode "Third From the Sun" on The Twilight Zone. Just watched it this morning. Also, anyone have pics of Lumpy's '53 Chevy Convertible from Leave it to Beaver. It was a 210 model, not a Bel Air. Chevrolet offered them in 210 trim in '53 but not in '54.
Yep, you're right. It was Wally. My memory faded. I knew Lumpy had the '40. Seems like he had the '53 too, in one episode. But search engine is my friend. Found these on IMDB. Black and White is Ward and Wally. Color is same car in a movie I've never heard of, Tammy and the Doctor.
i once posted the "grand finale" of the '57. amazing where that death scene pops up; once in "the twilight zone" and in an episode of "perry mason"!
Hello, There are a lot of cool movies on various TV channels. One of the latest ones to show up was an excellent story during the late 40’s to early 50’s. A true meaning of friendship was right on the money. The historic aspect of the movie was evident. Our dad, as old as we thought he was, got drafted and went to his physical in Los Angeles. But, the end of the conflict was winding down and he/his friends got their rank level and never set foot on a military base afterwards. He and his friends went to the local base for practice shooting a .45 caliber pistol that scared the daylights out of all of them. Ha! My wife’s dad was in the same shoe. He was in the Army Air Corps in OKC, in preparation for mechanics and flight school. But, as the war was winding down and then over, the pilot program got canceled. Jnaki The movie had one of the nicest 1950 Oldsmobile Sedans shown. It was a low rumble with the V8 much like my brother’s 1951 Oldsmobile Sedan he bought in 1956. The photography was outstanding and the action scenes were pretty intense. 1950 era car scenes were very cool. The 50s cars were outstanding and solid … nice historical aspect for all of us… But, one aspect of the whole movie was the Corsair airplanes in the prominent role. I had every model of Corsair Airplane build and an aerial scene, hanging from my young kid bedroom ceiling. Even a few die cast versions made the sky scene. Obviously, it was one of my favorite planes, that included the P-51, on my desk in another room, too.
Several scenes with this car in the '58 sci-fi flick "Earth vs. the Spider", saw it on MeTV's Svengoolie show a couple weeks ago...
So, what does a 91 year old guy drive in his latest movie? In "Cry Macho," Clint Eastwood drives a 1947 Chevrolet Pickup Truck Hello, Clint Eastwood plays a cowboy named Mike Milo. The opening scene of the film, shows the truck arriving at the ranch where he works. He plays country music and drives an old Chevrolet truck. Mike Milo’s truck is a 1947 Chevrolet pickup. The truck is a standard cab, light green pickup. Milo’s truck has a floor mounted manual shifter. It looks a bit worn, bearing some patina on the chrome. But overall, it’s in surprisingly good shape after 30 years of service at the ranch. This Chevrolet is one of the most popular pickup trucks of all time. It’s the perfect vehicle for Eastwood’s character. An old guy, old truck, the aura still exists... Jnaki He gives all of us old guys a step in the right direction with his skills, cunning and poise. For an old guy, he is just a classic. His movie truck, is a classic, just like him.
Just to set the record straight, those 6 wheeled amphibious machines were known as "AMPHICATS" NOT "AMPHICARS" Totally different vehicles. Thanks @Harv for posting and sharing.
