    When I had mine stripped and repainted the shop welded in 3" x 12" plates to the body at the C piller. This has been a known fix for this problem and in 1-1/2 yrs there is no evidence of a crack returning. That lower support is a great idea.

    Some progress. Now doing the wiring harness, what a pain in the ass that is!! :(
