I'm sure a lot of you remember the days when you had to go buy a good set of china plates before your wedding. At the top right of this picture is the place everyone would go to buy it called Shanfields. There was an old woman about four foot tall there and she would take future wife's hand and lead you and her around for hours looking at patterns of china. To prove to you how durable the plates were the old woman would throw it on the floor and jump up and down on it. After spending an afternoon going through this ordeal I'm sure there were more than one guy, like me who would probably rather be getting a root canal than be going through this hell.
