Thanks for the encouragement 1pickup! I've said this before, but it looks way better in person than in the pics, Definite 1959/'60 feel. My favorite time period for great early rods. I've managed to get a lot done in the last few weeks. I'll do a build thread update in the next couple days.

By the way, I'm still envious of the Esquire!

 

I think it's time for the Esquire to have a new owner. It's not doing anybody any good, sitting in the closet, And, I'm not gonna drag it to bar gigs. Could use the $$ for my '49 Merc. Probably get enough to build the 401 Nailhead, just right!

Split bones ,hairpins, hairpins with bushings ,hairpins with clevis's and tie rod ends ,39 40 front axle

 

Hi folks, my son and I have a couple of what we consider “ in progress” or mocked up projects on the go. The 56 Chevy is more or less together , ready for paint at this time, the 52 pickup and the 38 sedan are still needing a lot of love....
Spring is just around the corner right?

Couldn't resist throwing the intake & some old carbs on top of my fresh Nailhead!

 

Eventually it will all come together. The chassis isn't the original one but I do own most of the original engine parts.
