Mark made a great point, if I dont get the cleaeance when I pie cut the bones, I can always heat between the eyes and bend the steerimg arm eye outward and likely get plenty of clearance! I love the HAMB

Made some progress in the back...I have been trying to figure out how I was going to make this all come together. I knew it would work somehow but had to play with it. It took a piece from the back of a 39 buick to make it work. 20230107_124740.jpg Compound curves, no english wheel. 20230107_135903.jpg Still a ways to go and a lot more cleanup but this is gonna work! 20230107_141001.jpg 20230107_150735.jpg 20230107_151213.jpg 20230107_151229.jpg 20230107_151229.jpg 20230107_151233.jpg 20230107_151301.jpg

Looks like the old days before 1-800 parts. Taking old parts and making a cool hot rod. I like the video. Keep up the good work.

You're doing a great job of making something from nothing.

Little progresses tonight, got one of my backing plates stripped, primered and painted. 20230118_013156.jpg I finally put the catch on the drivers side so the door latches. 20230118_013131.jpg 20230118_013123.jpg I also started on a scratch built set of f1 shock mounts. 20230118_005334.jpg 20230118_013300.jpg The originals and repops cost more than I wanna pay for a little piece of metal so I just decided to crank out a pair myself, total finished cost will be about 3-5 bucks

Welded in a patch panel and added an interior door knob tonight. Small victories but progress! 20230124_003417.jpg

Cpl more patches, b pillar is finally sturdy enough that the door latches on its own when you slam it now instead of having to hold the latch open. Will obviously need a little more grinding and sanding but you get the idea. I also lowered the b pillar to match the door height. It was about 1/4" proud before 20230124_095402.jpg 20230124_095027.jpg

Love that 49 lincoln inner structure, looks like a custom dimple die setup

Snuck back out and made more progress. It is slowly becoming a trunk lid! 20230223_182250.jpg 20230223_182148.jpg
Once I get the basic structure solid, I will pull it off and make it pretty! 20230223_180218.jpg
