  2. Not even close, but I agree, someone should try to save it.

That was a 51 or 52 Chevy 4 door in the pics above. Looks like it's still got a good set of rear bumper brackets, maybe a crummy core bumper if anyone would want that. Doesn't look like much else salvageable, though.

  5. all that hard work just for it to be dumped in a forest. what a shame. its definitely not a deora, as its a ford, and it has side doors, (that i notice now) with the picture having them open) if anyone knows where that is and has a way to get a bill of sale/title for it that would be an amazing thing to save, would it be considered a traditional kustom? might be a few years late to the '65 cutoff.

Strange how something with so much work done to it ends up in a tree row.

  7. even the most legendary Kustoms; think the Golden Sahara ii; sometimes end up abandoned for years, the lesser known ones often get a similar, or worse fate.
only the lucky ones survive as they started.

Truck hoard in NW Washington State. Being cleared out. The Ranchero was listed for $1,500.
UPDATE: Happy to report all trucks were sold, none went to scrap.

The wheels are modern, large diameter, very 'bling'. They wouldn't even be attached to the Prefect. I thought I might need to paint them out for this site. (?) And I had just worked out how to paint things out ...

I was shocked when I saw it in the trees in that condition. Saw that car on youtube like 5 or so years ago all put together but don't have a clue what the actual upload date was anymore. Think it was already starting to rot then because I don't remember the engine, red velvet but nothing like that picture. I remember the black paint, the flame, the body chopped design the wing and especially the cougar taillights. I recognized it right away without the show picture which I am not sure if I ever saw it when it was done. I know it was on a you tube video about the 70's style show van eras and how some were being brought back to life.

Oh that black van I was talking about above also had like the cougar flip up grille/lights on the front besides the cougar taillights.
