Customs 3WJOHN's new ride, it's a 3 window but not a deuce

John seems to change cars as much as most of us change socks, he sold my pal Dave his 40 Ford coupe and replaced it with this beautiful custom.

Geezus...Who ever designed that roofline (and the whole car) was a friggin' GENIUS.. That's the coolest Shoebox I've ever seen

 

The top is awesome, the glob of chrome behind the front wheel, not so much.

I dunno BJR, that chrome/ stainless fender trim is kinda growin on me. The interior color is tough to swallow but,,,,, This one would look great in my garage....Mitch

Nothing wrong with your monitor, Looks like the radiator might be an original one or has a good number of years on it.

Still that car flat rocks my socks, Done so nicely on the outside some will swear that it left the factory that way and their uncle drove one except it was blue.

I'd like to see the body shortened about 12 inches from the bottom where the rear window lands to the trunk and make it a two seater. JMO ?

Like that style. Not much on shoeboxes(anymore). Had a '51 Vic, it was ok - sorta - , but iffen it'd looked like that, I'd still have it, if only for the looks. . That *is* the body style ford should've built. Well, that, & a 4-dr convert.
HRP, when you can, would you post-up some more detail pics? I suppose they'll get disappeared, but I'd still like to see.

Man, 3.05 for a gallon of gas!!! Cool car, looks pretty slick.

 

Beautiful car!! Those upper radiator hoses look a little "wonky" though.
