Event Coverage Detroit Autorama 2023

One month away! Who's going? Who's showing? We'll be hanging out Friday and Saturday. Haven't been there in 4 years so I can't wait. Party in the basement! And when the time comes, post your pics!

 

Two years ago, I didn't go cuz I thought I might get sick. Last year I didn't go cuz I was sick.

This year, come hell or high water...

 

Stay home, get sick. Go to car show, get sick. At least you saw some cool ass cars and not reruns of Deep Space Nine.

Hmm...one month away. I still have time to consider.

 

I can't believe it has been 6 years since I have been there with a customers car! Of course being winter...I had a Hell of a time getting up the ramp afterwards!

I will be back again, but not this year. Last time I was there, my customer won "Best Of Show" with his car.

I'll be there spectating. Bringing my kid this year, will be her first Autorama. As luck would have it, the Rangers are playing the Red Wings in Detroit Thursday night, and I grabbed tickets for the game, too.

My ‘32 was in it last year.Not going this year but a couple of my buddies are.

 

Trying to be. Let's face it, after a day or so, you've seen all there is to see at the Autorama. It's really about seeing friends, eating our faces off at all the great new restaurants that have opened, and taking in the sights and attractions of the area like the Henry Ford Museum, local sports, etc. Sharing it with the family makes it better

Friday upstairs, Saturday is reserved for the basement. I can't do that place in one day

 

Just loaded up the Studebaker, hope weather makes getting it there easy. Will be downstairs.

I looked up hotels in Detroit and all I got was Best Westerns and Motel 6's in Marion County, Oregon. And the only show is some farm implement expo. I am confused

Haven’t been to Autorama since 2013 when I moved, was hoping to get back one of these years.

 

I'm beginning to wonder if anybody is going to be upstairs. Hope the weather is better than it is here now. About half inch of ice on the trees currently in The Motor City.
