Tom Senter’s three part Ardun White Paper would be a good start toward that education.

    SIGH..I'd love to have an Ardun set-up (which I can't afford) on an H & H flathead (which I can't afford) in a '34 3 Window (which I can't afford)...SIGH:(

Chin up Jack......here ya go. If you can find a 1/3 scale '34 3 window, you'll be in business....but you'll need to sign up with Weight Watchers for fitment.:p

I had rapping contests with Ron Bement at the GoodGuys Nationals. This was from about 2009. He was another craftsman that we lost too soon.
This is a 1/3 scale smallblock in cast iron. The mock up in my avatar is an aluminum block from the master pattern that I was planning to put in the Willys.

I just noticed the address for Ardun in Richmond Hill, I lived there '45 to 49' on 133rd st.

  19. Here is an interesting article:
    https://www.motortrend.com/features/historic-1934-ford-roadster-ardun-flathead-scotty-muffler/

    An thread posted here previously:
    https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/tom-senter.414956/

Of course, there were other flathead OHV conversions:
    https://www.speedwaymotors.com/the-...valve-conversions-for-the-ford-flathead/30958

I didn't find a copy of The Ardun White Paper, but this thread lists the issue if R&C where it was published:

I picked up a copy of the White Paper articles from Rod and Custom and Street Rod Quarterly on E Bay listed as a remastered reprint. There were some mimeograph pages with part numbers and installation directions in a spiral bound compilation put together by King Enterprises, 65 pages.

Allard sales brochure with an ARDUN equipped Ford V8. Odd, since most Allards were shipped to NYC without engines.

Hard not to think of an Allard without Ardun or Cad power. J2, many Arduns, J2X, mostly Caddy.

There was one here locally, got to see it at a show 5-10 years ago. Then there is the Duntov Allard up around Hartford, Ronnie Roadster has worked on that one. I'd like to relive the times I bought a NOS set with spare rockers for $600. and the V8-60 ARDUN engine for $500.
