but, the rear section of the coupe body I was told is a 1930 model a coupe. It’s obviously not a 1930 model a coupe. The panel below the trunk lid is almost 40” wide. And The bead is different then what I see in all the pictures.

First person who tells me what I have with a year and model with proof , I will send a gift card to you for my appreciation

Well, the doors are undoubtedly Model A - 28/29 truck uses those doors and maybe one of the sedans? The internal structure reuses some Model T stampings if I recall.

Can't see the cowl very well but it looks like a '30/31 A cowl to me from the inside.

I thought the tail section looked like 30/31 Model A roadster but after refreshing my memory there are some body lines conspicuously missing that follow the decklid.

Then I thought 28/29 A roadster, because it doesn't have those body lines, but still maybe not quite right.

Are the rear wheelwells factory looking or were they deepened with some later metal? the outside edge looks like it was torched out to me. The bead line looks too much like A to be anything else, but, dang, there must have been a hundred makes in 1930.

Looks like the back half of a 1931 Nash 3w.

Not sure their offerings for cabriolet or convertible/roadster. Sure has the same 3w belt lines. The sheetmetal above the belt line, having provisions for a tack strip, makes me assume it's a 31 Nash roadster/convertible/cabriolet (whatever they called it).

Tough to find clear pictures of the tail but that sure looks like it. Here's a '30, rumble seat coupe.

And here's a walk around of a 1929 model, which looks like a dead ringer...

That's a whole bunch of parts that do not go together.

I am not sure how Texas goes about registering vehicles, but most states will want to know what to call it.

You have a 1930 to early 1931 Model A firewall, unknown cowl panels, unknown door posts, doors that could have been sourced from a 1927 or 1928 Model T sedan, or a 1928-1929 Model A closed-cab truck (the T doors carried over for two years), and what could be a 1929 to 1931 Nash tail section.

This is not one thing. This is at-least three things, and there is no frame, where any identifying original numbers would be found, on any of the above mentioned models and years.

This is 1927 to 1931 yard art.

It's a cobbled together piece of crap.

    Three sections of different cars.

You may not like that answer but that's what it is.

Asking the same question over and over will not change this outcome.

Are you junking the Nash quarters or gonna try to repair & integrate them? It could make a nice looking car with some thought. The Nash tail is longer and more gently sloped than the A.

Don't limit your thinking that they are Nash. Most cars of that era have similar looking parts and there were many different makes before the depression wiped them out. Could be Oakland, Marquette, Durant, Studebaker, Graham, or something even more obscure. I would say just mock up the pieces, build some structure to hold them into alignment that looks good and fill in the blanks. It doesn't matter what the parts initially came from; you don't have enough to do a proper restoration in any case.

All the pieces may not go together but I've seen some cool cars built from less. As far as the DMV is concerned if you have model a paperwork call it a model a, who there will know the difference? But if it were me (which its not) I would be on the lookout for a 26/27 coupe with no doors or rough doors which seem to be plentiful for some reason. Keep the doors you have for that project and send the rest of the pieces down the road.

It's metal; it's authentic; if it's too wide, narrow it, clean it up, fab up a deck lid and stick the pieces together till it's making sense. Move ahead with it
