Hello! Have these nice Cyclone Heads from Kevin and after using a while I wondering about water channel in head and block, but not in gasket. I know there are any discussions in the past about drilling holes in the gasket. Please look at the white circle on pictures, there are the areas. Must I open this with holes? Expert`s please help! I am in progress to install 260 grind camshaft. Thanks!!
Are these heads still available/being produced? I'm also curious to know if the Frank Burrell intakes are still being made or if any are available anywhere. Didn't mean to hijack this thread but I'm very curious, my '41 Cadillac convertible would benefit greatly from some speed parts.
it's my understanding, and I can't remember where I read it, the Cadillac kept blocking off more and more of the passages from the heads to the block as the years went by. There was a problem with overcooling. Cad ran the exhaust on the top of the block so they never had the problem that Ford did with squeezing two cylinders worth of exhaust between the two cylinders it was coming from to get it out the side of the block..
I make the heads sporadically as demand applies. Not enough orders at the moment but we’ll see in time???? The intakes were made through Barry Burrell. I believe that he has since sold the tooling. Thought about retooling for it.
