blower itself looks like a pruned and chromed GMC 4-71 intake manifold and tensioner bracket look like fabricated out of steel some cool stuff and some iffy stuff, throttle cable for one, water pump pulley driven off one of the blower belt grooves on crank pulley for another
Getting ready to enter a show in May featuring historic Aussie Hot Rods, fitted the 70’s era fenders and Tommy Ivo scoop. Also Halibrand wheels & M/T slicks.
There's a '70s time warp going on in your shop! The Hali's look great! Though I love the vintage 5 spokes & lettered bi plys you took off.
Righteous rig, man! 1st hotrodded engine I had was an early 303 olds block, 324 heads, & a whole lot-o neat name-speed parts. (Mill wasn't what it was claimed, but was *new* anyways. ). Only thing I'm not drooling over is the train mural(I just don't like murals - lots of work n talent, but still...). The white diamond-tufted interior will be absolutely just *perfect*! . Glad you got it, & are putting it back on the street. Marcus...
. Thanks for the kind words, unfortunately I’m not a mural man myself, but it was done in the seventies & I don’t have the heart to do anything with them at this stage. But we will see what happens in the future
I went to this show for the first time and had a good look of your C Cab and thought it was super cool
While I was at the Sydney show 2 weeks ago , a guy came up to me and said he knew the car & asked for my email address. Sent me these pictures a few days later. He lived up the road from where the car was stored . These pictures are from 2020
This is on my local cl if anyone wants a C cab project! Sorry for the thread jack, but seemed like a good place to put it....
@Dago 88, Happy Birthday...I was going to ask how this is going but you already are showing it...I hope your able to a least take it for a drive at a track or huge parking lot... You really done a number on it...another Milestone. Hows the Vicky...I was actually looking for that Thread...but this popped up...
Hello @Stogy , thank you . I have actually sold the Vicky, someone had enough cash to tempt me out of it. I haven’t done much with the C Cab, I need to find the time & energy to remove the trans, in the meantime I just purchased a’48 Pontiac which is keeping me busy. Have a great Christmas
Thank you...you're sure period surfing with your rides Dago...nothing wrong with that either...that's a nice Poncho...
