They are different. Which do you want, a 33 or 34? 34s are more common. 33s, Lee Nottingham sets the standard if you can source one.
Last time I talked to Lee he was no longer making grilles but that was while ago. American Speed was advertising them in their on line catalogue but they may have been Nottingham grilles? Last I knew Lee lived in Mississippi?
33 and 34 grilles are being made in Australia and most are going to the USA, I picked up mine today and its fucking awesome. They are being advertised on Facebook here in OZ, I purchased my one zinc plated and may chrome later or leave as is, a few pics. Glen
Really looking for a 34, but would take a 33. Most people can't tell the difference. Checked third gen and they don't know when or if they will get more. Seems that Nottingham quit making the 33. Why did Drake quit making them ?
I may be wrong (I usually am). 33 grills fit 33 only hoods and 34 grills fit 34 only hoods. So. . . . Plan accordingly, good luck
Yes, you are correct. The 33 and 34 hoods are different where they meet the grill. I am not running a hood, so it really won't matter to me.

I wonder what my chrome shop would charge to plate one of those new ones. Starting with a brand new piece takes a ton less work than a rough original, but it's still a lot of buffing on a big, awkward piece. Looks like an excellent stamping though.
Took some pics at a friends shop in Texas. His job was to get the 33 German built coachwork”special” to run where the owner could sell to his sister. Very interesting and different car but the grill looks prettytraditional. PS that is not me in the pic—Jimmy has a 33-3 window.lATTACH=full]5655168[/ATTACH]
